According to a recent report, over 18% of Clarksvillians live in military households. In an effort to make addiction treatment accessible and affordable for our neighbors, Cumberland Heights has partnered with TRICARE.
Does TRICARE Cover Rehab?
Yes, TRICARE covers addiction treatment services at Cumberland Heights. To be considered for coverage, services must be evidence-based and scientifically validated; no unproven modalities are covered. Fortunately, Cumberland Heights exclusively utilizes proven treatment methods. Our Clarksville Outpatient Recovery Center administers multiple therapies approved by TRICARE, including:
- Intensive outpatient programs
- Medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
- Mental health therapeutic services
- Office-based opioid treatment
- Partial hospitalization programs
Certain aspects of our programming are tailored to the military community, including the administration of trauma-focused treatment, help for anxiety and depression, and engagement with the Montgomery County Veterans Court.
TRICARE Online Therapy
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the decision to expand our offerings. Our Outpatient Recovery Centers can now administer treatment through teletherapy. Researchers have demonstrated the efficacy of telehealth services; they produce results comparable to those of in-person sessions. If a busy schedule or childcare responsibilities prevent you from coming to our facility in person, we invite you to ask our providers about teletherapy.
